use repeating image of clock, very basic and undetailed
get yarn or rope, make some kind of repeating knot and glue on
put random numbers in? maybe. might not get the idea of time across
maybe just have a giant collage of a ton of ideas and not worry about order or whether you can see them or anything
some sort of central image, not sure what yet

I want to explore the theme of patterns regarding how they appear in people's thoughts and lives. I'm interested in the patterns and cycles of people's lives, and I want to try to express it using different shapes and colors. My interest is in how the different shapes and colors can not only be patterns, but portray or represent intangible patterns as well.

For this project, I'm picturing drawing or painting a hallway with a window at the end, with a door halfway down. The window looks outside, and there is something like a road or landscape, something very light and open. The hallway is dark though, and the door is a dark color. The inside colors are dark colors like gray, brown, black. Outside there is green, blue, and maybe other light colors.
